Book review illustrated by SHOUT - 'The Rising: Murder, Heartbreak, and the Power of Human Resilience in an American Town’. - The book is about a man whose wife and daughters were brutally killed in an attack in their home, and he was the lone survivor. The event was national news here in the U.S. back in 2007. Pretty heavy material, but what you’ll see in the review is that the book really focuses on how he has—almost miraculously—been able to carry on with his life.
