2016 Olympic Games?? bagh! - for us its all about the first Settlers Games! __ A series of paintings by Marc Burckhardt which ran in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition as a parody, 'Settler Sports Illustrated,' depicts dumb, boring sports like Beehive Boxing, Grab The Ham or The Butterchurn Toss as fictional games in which the first settlers might have participated.

Over the next few weeks Graham Roumieu @roumieu will be illustrating 'Vincent Van Gogh & Paul Gauguin's road trip’ They’ll go up on @DougCoupland’s blog ( iamvincent.com/blog) starting with this one. __ Its all part of an ongoing project by @DougCoupland who is on a Global Search to find Vincent van Gogh's closest lookalike for his project Redheads. A great show of drawings by #kenprice at Matthew Marks Gallery brings together more than 40 drawings, never before exhibited.

#KenPrice drawings have a brilliant, witty, darkly comic humour revealing dark undertones of LA life - in a Raymond Chandler kind of way...

Loving these Ken Price artworks and drawings at the Matthew Marks Gallery. Ken Price is known for his sculptures, however this exhibition of reveals an unseen aspect of his work.
