Wilfrid Wood gets his hands on HEIDI
Wilfrid Wood has created a new version of HEIDI - (not the eight year-old cheerful Swiss orphan! but the Highly Educated Independant Degree carrying Individual). This is for the latest issue of CONTACT (Royal Mail's Magazine).
Wilfrid's HEIDI features on the cover and throughout the mag and is a unique application of his character model work. The idea was thought up by Tan Parmar (Group Art Director at Redwood Publishing) and we think the concept is a great leap of faith in magazine design and deserves to get him some awards. Photography of the model was shot by Stephen Lenthal and glow-in-the-dark cover graphics we're created by Stuart Daly - also an artist over here at DU.
Here are some shots of the magazine!
